Our review
Caltex StarCard is a strong option for businesses that want a simple, reliable discount and robust controls. The 8c/l introductory offer is one of the best on the market, and the ongoing 4c/l discount remains competitive. StarCard’s online portal makes it easy to manage cards, set spend limits, and monitor activity. The added value of StarCard Perks – discounts on tyres, servicing, and accommodation –helps further reduce business costs.
While the network is smaller than some other cards, the absence of transaction fees at Caltex StarCard merchants and the ability to tailor card controls make StarCard a great fit for businesses that primarily use Caltex.
For businesses needing broader coverage, StarCard Access is available.
StarCard Access gives you all the same features and discounts at Caltex StarCard merchants, but also lets you fill up at over 6,000 WEX Motorpass locations nationwide. You’ll get a 6c/l promo discount for 6 months (then 1c/l ongoing) at Caltex StarCard merchants, and a $0.55 transaction fee applies at WEX Motorpass sites. This is ideal for fleets that travel widely and need maximum network flexibility, while still enjoying strong savings and all the security and reporting tools of the main StarCard.
