What are the personal fuel card options?
Most fuel stations now have apps and prepaid options which can be used to help separate fuel expenses and also as a backup or gift to family and friends.
BP have their BPme app which allows you to link up a credit card to the app. This means that you could link up your credit card to the BPme app for your spouse or family to use at participating BP stations, without giving them a physical credit card which can be used anywhere.
Prepaid options which operate like gift cards are also a good alternative if you want to manage the cashflow. Simply prepay the amount and give the cards to your recipients for use at the selected stations.
